In 1936, the MNO ordered the production of a continuation aerobatic aircraft Bš.122. The aircraft was derived from the aerobatic Ba.122, but had stepped wings and a longer fuselage and was powered by a Castor II-A engine. The first Bš-122 was flown on 10 September 1936, and from July 1937 the Bš-122 was assigned to the training squadron of Aviation Regiment 4 and to the VLU. Read more

A total of 45 pieces were produced. After the occupation, the machines were also used by the Luftwaffe and several were sold to Bulgaria. Other prototypes were Bš-322 and B-322/Bš.122.45/. The B-322 had a covered cockpit and the Rk-17 engine had a Townend type ring cowling.

    After the success of the Avie Ba.122, other variants were developed. B-222.1 was flown in August 1937. The machine was powered by a nine-cylinder Rk-17 engine which was covered with a NACA aerodynamic cowling, and the wheels were also cowled. The aircraft flew in white and red livery, with no matriculation.

    Airspeed Limited was founded in York, England, in 1931. The aircraft type was practically based on the previous Airspeed AS5 Courier. By then the company was already in Portsmouth. The AS6 Envoy first flew in June 1934. The airplane's construction was all-wood. The wingspan of these machines was 15.94 metres and the fuselage length was 10.53 metres.
